Students practice writing historical reports such as are done by emergency medical technicians and police officers. Grades 5-8
Crime reports are similar to those of emergency medical technicians in that they deal with facts, but rather than concentrating on the medical facts of a case, a police report concentrates on events that happened, who was involved, and whether a crime has been committed. This is an excellent reading comprehension exercise and writing activity for students in Grades 5-8.
